NZTA - Drug Driving

Driving under the influence of drugs is a bigger problem in New Zealand than the public think or know about.

This campaign was created to spark conversation and bring this problem into the publics radar. So what better way to do this than to show how real New Zealanders felt and reacted if they were put in a car with a driver on drugs. 

Over four days, 147 people thought they were being driven to a 'costume fitting' for a TV commercial. What they didn't realise was that their 'drivers' were actually actors who were pretending to be driving under the influence of a range of drugs. Here are some of the reactions that made it on air.
